I produce copy to order. In 2009, I penned a weekly column for the Leeds Student, and I have written for a number of publications, including the official UCLU newspaper, Pi, and the collective blogging site, Critical Distance on subjects as diverse as video games as art, science education, politics and technology. For my writing on my signature site, Noble Carrots, I was mentioned in Newsweek.
I am an experienced A Level and GCSE tutor, and offer lessons to adult learners around Surrey. I tutor English Language and Literature, History, Religious Studies and Politics at A Level and GCSE, and Physics, Biology, Chemistry and French at GCSE level only. I make house calls.
I write all my own HTML, CSS and PHP. I type 67wpm.

Also during my time at the RGS I attended the

Being disappointed with my modern history grade in my AS January module where I gained a U, my parents and myself decided it would be appropriate to get a tutor. We found Spencer Greenwood on an online advertising site, and were very pleased with the result.
Although I will not be aware of my grade until August I felt significantly more comfortable sitting the exam and feel the outcome will reflect his work. Spencer has extensive knowledge, more than anyone I have ever met, and I feel this was reflected in my work where I used facts about online politics directly in my exam. Spencer not only taught me facts which gave me a wider view of the subject but he also taught me how to produce a substantial argument and undermine other opinions. We spoke about structure of answers, assessment objectives, planning an argument and developed opinions of all the topics which could come up. He added to my revision significantly, backing up facts with a good substantial argument. I was originally wary of having someone with little tutoring experience, however, Spencer proved himself to be highly intelligent, easy to talk to, prompt and organised. He was always prepared for our lessons and seemed to enjoy teaching and the subjects themselves. I'd highly recommend his tutoring and if I need help with my second year exams I know he would be the first person I'd ask for help.
